Italian security consultant Scaramella reveals on Alexander Litvinenko death

An Exclusive Al Jazeera English interview with Mario Scaramella, the Italian security consultant who met with Russian defector Alexander Litvinenko in London on November 6th, 2006, the day he was lethally poisoned. In the interview with Claudio Lavanga, Scaramella reveals he warned Litvinenko about the existence of a hit-list of “enemies of Russia” in which both their names were mentioned. Litvinenko didn’t trust the source of the warning, and yet that very afternoon he was poisoned with Polonium 210, possibly administered in a cup of tea he drunk at the Millennium Hotel. A fascinating insight into the last hours of Alexander Litvinenko at a time when a public inquiry is trying to establish who was responsible for his murder.
