Italy plans to sell properties to tackle debt

Fifteenth century castle and Venetian island among items up for sale in bid to relieve country's $2.5b debt. taly's public debt hit a record $2.5b in April, making it the second highest debt in Europe. In a bid to tackle the problem, the Italian government is planning to sell off some of its prime properties.
