Grexit: Athens asks for a referendum
Despite months of negotiations, the Greek government and the EU have failed to find a deal to solve the Greek debt crisis. Greek Prime Minister Tsipras has called for a referendum to ask its people to say no to EU commission and IMF's reform proposal.
The referendum, set for July 5 will decide between accepting the austerity measure or not. A "no" would likely mean for Greece to take into consideration leaving the Eurozone, a first for a European country. A "yes" might mean for the actual government to collapse and possible anticipated elections.
