Joseph: a migrant's story

Five years ago, Joseph came over from Libya. Originally from Ghana, he came to Italy to find a better life, leaving a wife and 6 children behind. Before boarding the boat that took him to Lampedusa, the smugglers promised him a spot on another boat, that ended up sinking in the Mediterranean with 125 passengers. Joseph feels extremely lucky to have made it to Rome, but admits that after 5 years, he still struggles to feed himself. He has a message for all those wishing to get to Europe.
