A Jordanian showcase connects cultures in Florence

On March 22 Jordanian born, Florence living artist Fadi Daoud hosted a Jordanian Showcase featuring art, fashion, and music in his studio in the heart of Florence. Thanks to this showcase, Italians and international students studying in Italy got a glimpse of the world and culture of Jordan. International photographers and painters from Italy like Fulvio Colangelo and Ralf Reschke from Germany also exhibited their art pieces on their perspective of Jordan. Greek Mezzo-Soprano Kleoniki Demiri entertained the guests and Jordanian fashion designer May Khoury showcased her unique, handmade jewels, scarfs and dresses. The event was under the patronage of the Rowaq Al Balqa Art Foundation and Jordanube for Arts and sponsored by the American University of Madaba, SACI (Studio Art Centers International) and the Royal Jordanian Airlines.
