Israel and Turkey reach rapprochement deal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Turkish counterpart, Binali Yildirim, have announced a restoration of ties between their countries during a joint press conference. The two countries broke relationships after the deadly deadly Mavi Marmara incident, where 10 Turkish activists lost their lives. Turkish officials called the deal a "diplomatic victory", and announced 10,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid soon to be shipped to Gaza, via an Israeli port. Al-Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports.
